Company Overview and History
R.B. Jergens performs a wide variety of civil projects. We have two divisions. The first specializes in mass-earth, landfill and environmental projects. The second division specializes in public improvement projects--roads, bridges, parks, site development, asphalt paving, and concrete. R.B. Jergens enjoys a wide variety of clients ranging from both public & private agencies, to national design-build firms, and waste companies (i.e. Waste Management, Rumpke, Allied, Republic, and more).
Our roots go back over seventy years. Bill Jergens' father, Henry Jergens, started his company in 1936. Growing-up in the family business, Bill Jergens quickly learned that hard work and dedication bring Value, Honor, and Integrity. These are the principles that patriarch Henry Jergens believed in. Today, these principles both guide and structure R. B. Jergens.
Located in Vandalia, near the Dayton International Airport, R. B. Jergens is an easy reach. Vandalia's new I-75 and I-70 Interchange is the ‘Crossroads of America’. It provides easy operational access servicing both the company, its clients, and vendors.
Top-to-bottom, R.B. Jergens reflects Bill Jergens' personality and style--combining hard work and assertiveness with an honest, open approach. Bill Jergens believes that construction is more than just building projects. It's about building bridges--bridges between the company and the client. Clients should enjoy the construction process. It's the contractor's responsibility to enable this result. Performance with personality. That is R.B. Jergens' culture.
